Projects have taken over my feeble mind
OK so my hubs says to me the other day" you sure do like to make more work for yourself don't ya ?" at first it kinda of perturbed me but the more i thought about it the more i realised he is right .. i do make myself busy.. i am in a perpetual state of unrest , always thinking of the next project or craft. and my super ADD is making it all but impossible to finish what i start. so my house is a bevy of unfinished half started projects , just mocking me ... and it drives me batty.. but i am so stuck in this pattern i fear it wont end anytime soon. So my ultimate goal is to pic a room ans start to finish be done with it... the only problem i foresee is my inability to be content with anything i do . as soon as i have finished something i find something i don't like about it and set forth to change or "fix" it , resulting in yet another unfinished project.. lol o well .. back to the stairs/dining room bondo job/bathroom wall/half upholstered couches etc.... you see what i mean ... it feels like i am always working but have no actual progress...

semi-fresh start in Ga
Well it has been a long journey , and we finally made it back to Ga. Steve and i have lived in so many places but it seems eventually we always end up back here.
We finally sold our house in Geraldine , man that took forever. I was in the middle of packing during the week of the big tornadoes in 2010 when 2 hit our small town. I had just enough time to gather up everyone into the bathroom before it went right over the house.. To say it was scary would be an understatement...We survived intact and were very lucky. even ended up on the news... We moved 5 days later.. Our house wasn't ready for us to move in yet we had all the obstacle's to overcome in the wonderful world of finance and closing in today's housing market.. it took about 6 weeks from the time we moved in with My in-laws to the time we were actually able to move in to the house... wow what a challenge that was. we closed and gave the tenants 30 days to leave the premises .. We stopped by and spoke to them and they told us they;d be out that weekend . Steve took off work and we rented a truck ...
When we got everything out of storage ;and Oh my goodness there was alot , we headed over to the house.
Low and behold they weren't out yet. WOW what a mess. the door wasn't locked TV was on boxes EVERYWHERE and so much filth .. oh it was so disgusting. Pizza boxes ,moldy drinks ,moldy clothes everywhere . OMG what the crap toothpaste on the ceilings and walls .. EWWWW . OK i understand that everyone has the right to do what they want behind closed doors in their own house , but COME ON have a little respect for your stuff dude. cigarette smoke does so much damage to not just your body but to dwellings as well. I know this I used to smoke and it took alot to quit! but I did ! cleaning that crap out of stuff and off of walls is a nightmare. its like sticky nasty brown goo . I have scrubbed and scrubbed and I am still finding it everywhere..
We had to put their stuff somewhere because we had no choice . we had closed our storage unit and were already out a bunch of money from the move. IF you say your gonna be out BE OUT or at least call us ...they new we were coming what the crap!... so we ended up not only packing up all of our stuff we had to pack up there stuff too.. and that was alot . we had to move the stuff they said the were taking to the dump , out into the driveway so we could put our stuff in the garage. ohhhh there where coolers with dead fish and bear cans rotting in the garage and next to it.. the fridge in the grange was so black with mold and maggots that it should be melted down and buried, I only know this because i made the mistake of opening it up only briefly enough to gag and run away yelling and doing an icky dance...blehhhhhh ... We moved everything into the bonus room (guest room to be) . and started bringing stuff in .. Thank God my Bro-in law Chris was there to help. wow what a night.. it took twice as long because of having to move all their stuff.... I got busy cleaning and cleaning and cleaning... Well guess who Finely shows up.. they were all "confused " about why we where there.. seriously come one three adults should be able to manage remembering something like OH yeah were moving today... come-on ... so they were like "oh i think there is some confusion .. " Uhhh yeahhh Id say so... so we said they could get the rest of their stuff whenever they could . and left it at that , they were pretty nice but still it was frustrating . they own a bar and work odd hours so i understand being tired an forgetful but really it seemed to be a bit more to it then that ... ... we blew up the air mattress's and slept best we could..
the first thing we did the next day( Monday )was have the carpet professionally cleaned , before i would even put any of our stuff on that gross carpet ( i remind Steve regularly that I'm gonna rip it out one day)....anyway .. that's all for now as i get time and memories improve LOL I will add more...
